WHAT IS THE SUSTAINABLE ENERGY INSTITUTE?

The Sustainable Energy Institute is a Washington D.C.-based 501(c)(3) educational organization committed to improving public awareness and understanding worldwide of future energy supply and demand options and their implications. SEI also facilitates high-level policy dialogue on energy options, focusing particular attention on technological solutions to a cleaner energy future. Led by respected scholars and thinkers in the energy and environmental area, SEI strives to cut through the political rhetoric and promote intelligent debate on sustainable energy solutions. As an independent voice, SEI provides a balanced perspective on energy choices while promoting the development of new energy technologies and working to reduce the impact of the existing options on public health and safety and the environment.
